Reality Star Bethenny Frankel Preps Talk Show

Well, someone has to fill the post-Oprah void, right?

The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that reality star Bethenny Frankel has taped a pilot for a planned talk show on Bravo.

Frankel has made no secret of her desire to break out beyond her reality TV niche, and has already amassed a fortune believed to be around $120 million from her SkinnyGirl drink brand, books, and other endeavors.

"I would like a daytime talk show because my conversation with my fans right now is through social networking, and my TV show communicates what I'm doing, but it isn't really a dialogue or a conversation," Frankel said in an interview with PopEater last February.

Frankel has called in some seasoned help for the pilot. Seasoned talk show vet Ellen DeGeneres revealed during a guest appearance by Frankel on her show that the two were working together. Frankel's show is being produced by Telepictures, through which DeGeneres has a production deal.

No word on when Bravo plans on airing the show.
