President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama pose with Oprah Winfrey in the Blue Room of the White House in Washington during a taping of a special, "Christmas at the White House."
You get an ornament! And you get an ornament!
Like an angelic, emmy-winning huffamoose bearing tidings of joy and slumping ratings, Oprah descended into the White House this week to film her annual Christmas special.
Her O-liness talked to President Obama and first lady Michelle about holiday gifts. Obama said that as a rule he gives "nicer stuff than I get." Michelle Obama responded, "No way, I gave you good gifts last year."
Truly, the rancor in that household is untenable.
Winfrey's special will include a tour of White House holiday decorations, an appearance by Bo, the family's dog, and a Ron Howard-produced laugh track.
Winfrey also says she asked the president to give himself a grade on the job he has done. Winfrey hasn't revealed the grade Obama gave, but says it "might surprise you."
How do you wrap a Gallup Poll, anyway?
