Letterman Solicits Doctor Recommendations from Santorum

The "Late Show" host sardonically agreed with the GOP hopeful's withering critique of college

Late night isn't going to let go of Rick Santorum's crusade against higher education anytime soon.

This week, all of late night's hosts have given the former Pennsylvania senator a hard time for knocking President Obama's goal of every kid going to some kind of college.

On Thursday's "Late Show," David Letterman got in on the act.

"Rick Santorum doesn't think kids ought to go to college. And I think he's got a point. You know what this country needs? Rick, I'm with you, buddy, on this," he said.

"What this country needs is more self-taught doctors," Letterman continued.
