Viewers have weighed-in on David Letterman’s sex extortion case with their remotes and most aren’t clicking away from the CBS “Late Show” host.

Letterman’s ratings held steady in the coveted 18-49 demographic in the weeks since he copped to affairs with staffers last month, though they are down 8 percent season to date, Reuters reports.

In total viewers across all demographics, the talk show host has earned 13 percent growth for the season.

“It doesn't appear to have hurt him and likely got him more sampling," Bill Carroll, a VP at consulting firm Katz Television Group, told Reuters.

On Oct. 1, soon after the show’s premiere, Letterman revealed he had been threatened with blackmail over affairs – which he admitted – and said he was cooperating with authorities.

Letterman’s competition has been hit much worse in the ratings this season.

Since Conan O’Brien became host of “The Tonight Show,” the NBC show has plunged 15 percent in the 18-45 demographic and 47 percent in viewers, according to Reuters.

Letterman, long the number two in his time slot, has come out on top.
