Kelly Ripa to Produce TLC Reality Show for Female Entrepreneurs

Kelly Ripa is expanding her media presence.

The “Live! With Regis & Kelly” star will produce with hubby Mark Consuelos a new TLC reality TV competition for aspiring female entrepreneurs.

“Homemade Millionaire,” set to debut on Nov. 19, will follow three women vying for a shot at having their invention sold on-air and online through HSN, the multichannel retailer said.

“We are super excited to be working with TLC and HSN on this project,” Ripa and Consuelos, owners of Milojo Productions, said in a joint TLC and HSN press release. “We’re sent so many innovative products from women every day, and to be able to help them get into the marketplace is a dream come true for us. These inventors have worked so hard in this show. We’re beyond proud of them.”

For each hour-long episode, Kelly will coach “Homemade Millionaire” hopefuls through a series of business tasks and serve on a judge’s panel with two HSN execs.

Tingler head massager inventor and author Wendy Robbins, as well as veteran ad man Ed Evangelista have also joined the show as mentors for the budding entrepreneurs.
