It’s the heist that wasn’t.

Shakira’s publicist said Thursday there’s “no truth” to reports a brazen fan snatched a ring off the pop star’s finger during a recent concert in Monterrey, Mexico.

Earlier today, several news outlets including this one posted a video purporting to show the Colombian-singer reacting to the alleged robbery as she moved through the crowd during her performance.

“There is no truth to this report,” Shakira’s publicist, Joseph Carozza, told TMZ. “A fan grabbed her hand and she looked down. Her ring is still visible on her hand as she continued to walk through the crowd.”
