Following years of speculation, Ricky Martin announced his homosexuality on his website, rickymartinmusic.com. "Today I accept my homosexuality as a gift" Martin wrote in Spanish on his website. The singer has been working on his memoirs in recent months.

Ricky Martin heated up the Internet and caused a frenzy on several entertainment news sites (which thought it was a new video) on Friday when he Tweeted a link to a promo video from his 2007 "Black & White Tour" – a video that features the Puerto Rican singer in the buff!

In the video posted on YouTube, a naked Ricky is covered up by strategically placed digital shadows and tattoos.

According to the singer's Tweet, the video was directed by his close friend Dago Gonzales.

"It's all about positive affirmations," Ricky Tweeted after posting the video. "Peace gang!"

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Ricky announced that he was gay in March, saying, "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man… I am very blessed to be who I am."
