Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tickets for two newly added shows go on sale on Thursday, July 30
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band haven't put their glory days behind them just yet—Sunday night the group announced plans for a world tour kicking off in 2012.
The tour, announced on Springsteen's website, will be the first without the group's longtime saxophonist Clarence Clemons, who died from stroke complications in June. Four dates for the European leg of the tour, which runs from May through July, have been posted along with foggy details about the group's upcoming album.
"We want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet)."
The details are posted next to two large photos of "Big Man" Clemons, who Springsteen eulogized at a summer memorial service. There are still no details on whether Springsteen will find a replacement for his longtime partner when they hit the road next year.
