It's A Girl For Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus

Break out the bonnets and the pink balloons!

Jay DeMarcus, member of country superband Rascal Flatts, and his wife Allison welcomed a daughter on Friday, Access Hollywood has learned.

Madeline Leigh DeMarcus was born at 4:49 PM in Nashville, Tenn., weighing in at 6 lbs., 9 oz.

"Allison and I are thrilled!" Jay said in a statement to Access on Saturday. "Madeline is absolutely gorgeous; she looks just like her daddy! Both mom and baby are doing well."

Additionally, Jay told People that his new daughter "is tiny, but perfect in every way."

"I'm just kissing her little face off!" he told the mag.

Rascal Flatts bandmate (and fellow father) Gary LeVox is reportedly already lending his advice to the new dad.

"Gary told me to strap in and hold on for the wildest ride of my life," Jay told the mag. "I didn't get much sleep last night. I kept waking up and thinking, 'Oh my gosh, I'm a father!'"

This is the first child for the proud new parents, who were married in May 2004.
