Is Glee's Dianna Agron headed for martial bliss? Depends on who you listen to.

The star of Fox's musical comedy has gotten engaged to her boyfriend, I Am Number Four co-star Alex Pettyfer, according to a report from US Magazine.

D.J. Caruso, the director of the forthcoming sci-fi flim, set the couple up on the set just over a year ago and reports of their engagement intensified when Agron appeared at the I Am Number Four press day with a diamond ring on her finger.

But in an Access Hollywood report, agents for both actors denied the rumors.

"Not true," wrote Pettyfer's rep in response to an Access Hollywood inquiry about the engagement. The agent for Agron simply added that they were "not engaged."

In I Am Number Four, Pettyfer, 20, plays a teenager who is actually one of the final members of alien race that begins to develop a series of super powers while being hunted down by a rival civilization. Agron, 24, plays Four's love interest, a fellow student at a high school in Ohio.
