Corey Haim Snubbed in Oscars' Memorial Tribute

Corey Haim, the star of 80s vampire film "The Lost Boys," was a forgotten man at the 83rd annual Academy Awards.

The actor was notably left out of the Oscar's tribute to film notables who passed away over the last year, reports Access Hollywood.

Among those recognized by the Academy were Dennis Hopper, Leslie Nielsen, Tony Curtis, and Leana Horne.

Haim, who also starred in "Lucas" and "License to Drive," died on March 11, 2010. He was 38.

After Haim was overlooked at the Screen Actors Guild Awards "In Memoriam" tribute in January, his friend and former co-star Corey Feldman, felt compelled to speak out.

"We have become used to not being honored by our peers in the industry," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I have faith that the Academy will make a wiser choice."
