“Lost” Creator Twitter Slams “X-Men” Star

There's a saying about "glass houses" that seems appropriate.

Damon Lindelof, the co-creator of the TV drama "Lost" which went from pop culture sensation to punchline thanks to a series finale that angered long-time fans, has been pretty open about slamming other people's work via Twitter.

First, he got into a war of words with "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin, after Martin claimed he didn't want his popular series of novels to flame out the way "Lost" had.

Now, Lindelof has had some less than kind words for January Jones' performance in the new movie "X-Men: Last Stand."

"Emma Frost's THREE mutant powers: Telepathy, Transformation to Solid Diamond and last but not least, Sucking at Acting," he wrote. This came after another tweet saying how much he enjoyed the film and the work of stars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy.

If the "Lost" creator sounds like an angry X-fan, it's because he knows from direct experience. Lindelof once started writing a limited series for Marvel Comics starring the X-character Wolverine. After two issues of the planned six-issue series, delays saw the subsequent issues pushed back so many times that it became something of an angry joke among fans. The 2006 series was finally concluded in 2009.
