Mel Gibson's Ex-Girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, Sues Lawyers for Allegedly Botching Settlement With Troubled Star

Oscar winner's estranged baby mama goes after her former attorneys for failing to properly look after her interests during her custody war with Mel.

Oksana Grigorieva is suing mad these days--and for once the target of her legal wrath is not Mel Gibson.

Despite reaching a custody settlement in which she received $750,000 and joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, Lucia, Gibson's baby mama now says she's not thrilled with some of the terms of the arrangement, so much that she's accusing her lawyers of legal malpractice.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, a copy of which was obtained by E! News, the 42-year-old Grigorieva claims her former attorneys Ronald Litz and Daniel Horowitz negligently advised her to sign off on a quit claim deed.

As a result, according to court docs, the Russian singer-songwriter gave up all of her interest in the Sherman Oaks residence she lives in that belonged to the "Lethal Weapon" star.

Grigorieva's suit also states that because of the arrangement she signed, she can't pursue legal action without losing and jeopardizing the monetary settlement she received.

According to the terms of the pact announced at a court hearing in August 2011, Oksana is allowed to stay in Gibson's Sherman Oaks home until 3-year-old Lucia is 18 years old. After she reaches that age, she and Mel agreed that the home will be sold and the proceeds put in a trust for their daughter.

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva's custody settlement: Who's getting what?

Gibson has agreed to pay the $750,000 to his ex-girlfriend in three installments--$250,000 after releases have been signed, $250,000 by September 2013 and the final $250,000 by September 2016.

Grigorieva is seeking damages and costs from both of her former attorneys.
