Man Gets 17 Years in Prison for Stealing Car from Jillian Michaels

The Bentley was stolen two years ago from "Biggest Loser" star Jillian Michaels

A man was sentenced to almost two decades in state prison Friday for stealing a Bentley belonging to celebrity fitness guru Jillian Michaels.

On parole for a prior burglary conviction, Gerjuan Deshon Harmon, 31, took the 2011 Bentley GT from "Biggest Loser" star Michaels' Malibu home back in July 2012, according to an LA County Districty Attorney's Office statement released Friday.

Burbank police arrested him the next day after pursuing the Bentley, during which time he crashed the car and fled. He was eventually captured after he ran into a shed, police said.

Harmon was found guilty of first-degree burglary with a person present and grand theft of personal property in June, after a previous jury failed to reach a verdict on those counts in December 2013, according to the statement.

The jury did find Harmon guilty of unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, evading an officer and hit-and-run, and two counts of resisting an officer.

He was sentenced Friday to 17 years in prison.
