Kate Moss Posing for Playboy's 60th Anniversary Just Before She Turns 40

Kate Moss is getting nude to celebrate not only her upcoming 40th birthday, but also commemorate Playboy's diamond anniversary.

The British supermodel, who turns the big 4-0 on January 16, will grace the cover of the iconic men's magazine's December issue, which will take a look back at Playboy's sixty years in the business of showcasing female beauty (and let's not forget the great articles too!).

"She's a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagry to upscale modeling," Playboy founder Hugh Hefner told the Los Angeles Times, which broke the story on Tuesday.

Giving past Playboy bunnies a run for their money in the sex symbol department--not to mention Marilyn Monroe who was the first Playmate way back in December 1953--Moss will strip down to her birthday suit for a full-frontal spread that will be shot by fashion photographers Marcus Pigott and Mert Atlas.

Per the paper, the pictorial will also find the catwalker sporting the magazine's signature velveteen bunny ears as well as wearing French cuffs, silk stockings and an alluring "come-hither smile."

Moss, who shot to fame in the early '90s as the poster child for the "heroin chic" look thanks to her waif-like frame, is one of the top-earning models in the business, taking home nearly $20 million in 2012. She's also been the face of high profile campaigns by the likes of such designers as Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, and Bulgari among many others.

Johnny Depp's ex also regularly poses with celebrities, including most recently Rihanna in a super sexy photo shoot for V Magazine.
