Aussies try and be eco-friendly, but Joel Madden learned the hard way they're not cool with everything green Down Under.
On Sunday, Nicole Richie's husband was busted when marijuana was found in his Sydney hotel room on Sunday. The Good Charlotte rocker addressed the situation firsthand in a Tumblr post, confirming that "a small amount of marijuana" was found by a hotel employee and "police were called and responded."

"Sydney is is my adopted home and I appreciate the way the NSW police handled the situation," he added. "They have informed me there will be no charges. I hope this didn't cause too much drama for anyone."
According to local reports, Madden was immediately asked to leave The Darling Hotel. The hotel did not immediately respond to E! News' request for comment.
