Janet Jackson Confirms Pregnancy at 50

The 50-year-old singer confirmed her pregnancy to People magazine

The newest mom-to-be? Janet Jackson.

The 50-year-old singer confirmed her pregnancy to People magazine.

Jackson announced in April that she was postponing her "Unbreakable World Tour" because she was planning a family with husband Wissam Al Mana. She said then that she was on "doctor's orders" to rest.

“We thank God for our blessing,” Jackson told People in an article published on Wednesday. It features Jackson posing with her baby bump.

Since postponing the tour, the singer has kept a lower profile. She was last seen shopping in London for baby goods in a furniture store.

Jackson's brother, Tito, confirmed his sister's pregnancy in an interview with SiriusXM's Andy Cohen in June. The baby will be Jackson's first.

Jackson married the billionaire in a private ceremony in 2012. She was previously married to James DeBarge (1984) and Ren Elizonda, Jr. (from 1991 to 2000).
