Fake ‘Melania' Joins Colbert to Address Husband's Lewd Comments

“Melania,” played by Tony-winning actress Laura Benanti, joined Colbert to point fingers at the left wing media and Billy Bush

What would Donald say?

Reflecting on the men's "locker room" talk that recently landed Donald Trump in hot water, 'Melania Trump' made a surprise appearance on "The Stephen Colbert Show" and offered up a wistful thought.

“They’re all animals--if only a woman could be president.”

Actually, it wasn't Melania Trump, but Tony-winning actress Laura Benanti who joined Colbert to point fingers at the left wing media, the election and Billy Bush.

"He explained it was 'locker room talk' -I did not know this- but when American men gather to sport, they always brag about grabbing women by the Billy Bush” Benanti said.

The real Melania Trump was interviewed by CNN’s Anderson Cooper Monday and defended her husband’s "boy talk,” accusing the then-host of "Access Hollywood" of egging Trump on to make the controversial remarks.

"Access Hollywood" is an NBCUniversal program.

"Now I know why they’re on a bus--it’s easier to throw Billy underneath it,"Colbert joked. He then ripped into the idea of Trump, a man who can be persuaded by Billy Bush, in the position of president with nuclear launch codes at his disposal.

"Goodbye Finland," Colbert said.
