Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell Split

And another Hollywood couple calls it quits.

Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell have split after nearly two years of marriage, E! News confirms.

"Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate," Wood's rep said in a statement obtained by E! News. "They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."

The former couple welcomed their first child—a baby boy—in July 2013 and shortly after Wood gave birth, Bell praised his "warrior" wife for "birthing our son so naturally & peacefully."

Just last month, Bell spoke about balancing work and fatherhood in an interview with Parade magazine and said that his family has been on the set of his new AMC drama "Turn."

"Yep, it's been great," the 28-year-old star revealed. "My wife's an actress as well. I'm so lucky that she isn't working at the minute so we can have this time together. And [it's] really important time together: the kid's like five months old and I just feel that it's so important that both of us are around so that connection is deep and made. So that's been great. I'm so fortunate for that. But it's a total relocation of your life. It's a huge commitment doing a show. I didn't really realize the kind of undertaking, what it required of you, but it's a massive undertaking."

Despite the pair's apparent baby bliss, there have been signs that the duo's romance took a rocky turn as of late. In fact, Wood performed at "An Evening With Women," an annual fundraising gala for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian center, sans her hubby on May 10th.

"Jamie Bell was not with Evan at the gala," an eyewitness tells us. "She kept to herself the majority of the evening and wasn't very social, not really chatting with many people."

Bell and Wood first met back in 2004 on the set of Green Day's music video "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Eight years later, the twosome tied the knot on Oct. 30, 2012 in a small, discreet ceremony.
