Dina Lohan Had โ€œ2, Well Maybe 3โ€ Glasses of Pinot Grigio on Night of DWI Arrest: Court Records

Lindsay Lohan's mother admitted drinking "two, well maybe three glasses" of pinot grigio the night of her arrest for drunk driving on Long Island, and allegedly told police that Oprah Winfrey had interviewed her just days earlier, according to court records.

Dina Lohan, 50, pleaded not guilty during a court appearance Tuesday. She was stopped earlier this month after police saw her speeding, and then failed a series of field sobriety tests, asking during one test whether she could stop after five seconds, according to a criminal complaint.

Prosecutors said her blood-alcohol level was .2 percent; New York's legal limit is .08 percent.

She was issued tickets for DWI and speeding.

The criminal complaint said that Lohan, while being held at state police barracks, said she had been interviewed by Oprah at her home that week, and had also appeared on a TV show with her ex-husband that night.

Her license was suspended Tuesday, but it was not immediately clear for how long.

Dina Lohan's lawyer says his client is a first-time offender who has dealt with "family substance abuse" and "domestic abuse" and said she was just like anyone else, trying to do the best she could.

The arrest comes just months after her daughter completed her latest stint in rehab. Her daughter was not in court with her.
