The year was 1990, and the Orange County born Will Ferrell just graduated the University of Southern California with a degree in Sports Broadcasting. It was there, the Old School actor went streaking, and pulled off elaborate pranks for his friends and classmates.
Flash-forward 25 years later, and the funny man is now an A-list actor, producer and writer. He was able to live out a dream on Saturday at the LA Memorial Coliseum when he was asked to lead the USC Trojans football team out of the tunnel before their nationally televised game against the Stanford Cardinal.
Wearing a No. 85 jersey, Ferrell first pumped up the capacity crowd at the Coliseum before turning his back on the players as they got themselves fired up. Suddenly, the team was crashing down on Ferrell, who was nearly trampled by the Trojans. Ferrell was flustered but recovered nicely to gingerly jog onto the field with the team.
