Reality star Dean McDermott has been released for the intensive care unit of a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a punctured and collapsed lung from a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, People reported.
Wife Tori Spelling tweeted Friday that she was bringing the pair's two kids to visit him in a "regular room," and later lashed out at the celebrity shutterbugs who shadowed her on the trip.
"SUPER disrespectful for tons of paparazzi to follow us and take pics as our family is trying to enter hospital to visit ... NOT COOL!" Spelling wrote.
Spelling, 37, who co-stars with McDermott on Oxygen’s “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” earlier told People that her 43-year-old hubby crashed while out dirt bike riding with two friends on Tuesday.
“He’s in a lot of pain,” Spelling said after the accident, but added that her husband was expected to make a full recovery.
McDermott suffered a broken shoulder in a previous bike accident earlier this year. After the crash, McDermott pledged to quit professional racing to allay his wife's fears over his safety, according to People.
Spelling said initially she was "pissed" to learned of a second crash.
“But when I showed up and saw him lying there, and they told me they were admitting him to ICU with a collapsed lung, my heart dropped," she said. "My biggest fear had come true."
This time McDermott has apparently agreed to sell his bikes and give up riding for good.
"Let's just say, I wont be dirt biking anymore," McDermott tweeted on Thursday.
