Tidbits: J.Lo Too “Traditional” to Consider In Vitro

In her upcoming rom-com, “The Back-Up Plan,” Jennifer Lopez plays a woman who becomes pregnant with twins via in vitro fertilization, but the real-life mother of two insists she never would consider such a treatment herself.

“When it comes to family and relationships, I’m quite traditional,” Lopez said, explaining her personal reasons to Elle magazine for rejecting in vitro. “Just because of the way I was raised. And I also believe in God and I have a lot of faith in that, so I just felt like you don’t mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it’s not, it’s not going to.”

Prior to giving birth to fraternal twins Max and Emme in February of 2008, Lopez was rumored to have undergone in vitro fertilization.

A Jonas baby could soon be on the way
He married Danielle Deleasa less than three weeks ago, and already Kevin Jonas is said to be eager to add to his famous family. A source close to the eldest Jonas Brother spoke to the National Enquirer about the newlywed’s goal for the new year.

“Danielle is one of three siblings, and Kevin comes from a big family, too, with three younger brothers,” the insider told the magazine. “Kevin is inspired by his mom and dad — who married young and had kids early on.”

In fact, according to the source, Jonas is so inspired to get started, he even has a name picked out for the baby-to-be.

“I want to have a daughter named Madison Grace,” Jonas was heard to say.

Katharine McPhee’s on-the-road ritual
She spends much of her time in top hotels, but Katharine McPhee’s compulsion to clean keeps her from relaxing when she arrives at one of her homes-away-from-home. In an interview with USA Today, the “Had It All” singer admitted her stays always start the same way.

“Sanitize everything,” McPhee said of her ritual. “It depends on the hotel but I always take off the covers and blankets on the bed and put them on the floor or closet. I try and make sure the bathroom is clean.”

Maid service is appreciated, but the “American Idol” alum isn’t afraid to get down and dirty in her cleanup efforts.

“When I am on the road I am in so many different hotels that if it is late and I can't call housekeeping, I will find myself getting down and cleaning the bathroom myself,” McPhee told the paper, “or I will lay towels down over dirty carpets and bathroom floors.”

Dish on the fly
Though it’s shaping up to be a he-said, she-said feud between Lindsay Lohan and her ex-pal Patrick Aufdenkamp, it may not matter who’s telling the truth. Either way, the embattled actress’s next foray into fashion appears to be over before it even began. According to LiLo’s camp, her former BFF stole sketches intended for her 6126 clothing line and now intends to use them for his own collection. But in a statement issued to gossip blogger Perez Hilton, Aufdenkamp claimed his designs are “100 percent” his own. “I would like to see any shred of evidence that supports those ridiculous allegations,” he said. “There is no evidence and there will be nothing Lindsay or her company can find to show otherwise. I'm way too creative of an individual to need to steal anything design-related from that girl.” … A fake fight led to real injuries for action-flick veteran Sylvester Stallone. While filming a knockdown sequence with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for their upcoming film, “The Expendables,” the actor suffered a hairline fracture to his neck. “I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation,” the now metal-plate enhanced 63-year-old revealed to Britain’s FHM. Evidently, Stallone wasn’t the only one to walk away wounded. “Man, it was seven guys, kicking each other’s ass, one guy tougher than the next,” he said of the all-star, all-muscle cast, which includes Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren.
