Sarah Michelle Prinze (formerly Gellar) and Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed a baby girl on Sept. 19 according to People magazine. Charlotte Grace Prinze is the first child for the couple. They have been together six years.
Sarah Michelle Gellar has opened up about becoming a mother earlier this year.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Sarah Michelle gave birth to her first child with husband Freddie Prinze Jr., baby Charlotte Grace Prinze on September 19. And now, in a new interview with People, the new mom is all aglow with baby love.
"Every day I look at her and I am in awe," Sarah Michelle told the mag.
Sarah Michelle, was 32 when she gave birth to Charlotte and although she and Freddie, 33, have been married since 2002, she said she is glad the couple waited to have their first child.
"Becoming a parent is the most selfless act and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child," the actress said "I don't know if you know how to do that when you're in your 20s."
And Freddie is also proud of having waited until they were really ready.
"I'm so happy we didn't have kids in our 20s – I just didn't know a thing. You have so much more patience in your 30s, and I feel like I appreciate this so much more," he said.
