"I am great and enjoying being single," she told Access. "He is just angry because I broke up with him."
The heiress was referring to a statement released by Doug after the news of their split made headlines, in which Doug claimed he and Paris had broken up in the middle of April – not over two weeks prior, as a rep for Paris stated at the time. The pair had dated on and off for over a year.
Paris told Access that she's now looking for better influences in her life.
"I need more positive people around me and people who love me for me," she said.
On another note, the star added that plastic surgery was to be expected in Hollywood – "I mean, we live in LA" – but unlike many stars, a fear of needles has kept her away from going under the knife.
"I have my own push-up bra line. And I am coming out with a line of lingerie. So when you see me and I have cleavage, it's because I am wearing my own line of push-up bras because I am really flat," she explained.
Among her other projects, Paris said that she's just finished her latest "BFF" show – this time based in Dubai – and is working on a follow-up to her 2006 music debut, "Paris."
"I am currently working on my new album. And it will be very different from my last one," she said.
