Working Moms: Gwyneth Paltrow Feels Your Pain

Gwyneth Paltrow wants you to know that, just like millions of women, she is a working mom with nonstop demands on her increasingly shrinking daily schedule. She understands. And she's here to tell you how to do it right.

Never mind that she is an A-list actress from a distinguished Hollywood family married to a multi-platinum selling rock star. She understands. And she's here to tell you how to do it right.

Paltrow's lifestyle site GOOP has been drawing fire since its inception, from Paltrow's "simple" style choices that involve thousand dollar boots to her "simple" getaway suggestions to exotic and insanely-expensive locales. Now, Paltrow has once again inserted her virtual foot in her cyber mouth by explaining to working moms how best to manage their hectic schedules while still having plenty of "me" time for exercise and quiet reflection. Assuming, of course, they also have a staff, flexible job hours, and plenty of rainy day money.

Today Moms is taking Paltrow to task over her comments, pointing out once again how out of touch she and her Goop site are by dissecting Paltrow's alleged "schedule" and weighing it against elements like "reality," the "space time continuum" and the "planet Earth."

Today Moms' Rebecca Dube explains that a reader-submitted email prompted the "Country Strong" star to ponder the struggles of "other" working moms. "Oh yes, she said other," writes Dube. "As in, other extremely busy working mothers like her, the fabulously wealthy movie star wife of a rock star. Just so we can all see how it’s done, she gives us the run-down of a typical “manic” day in her life."
