Kate Moss gave the skinny on her modeling tips -- and critics didn't eat it up.

The super svelte supermodel dished to WWD.com on her modeling mottos and is now being accused of promoting eating disorders because her mantra happens to be the same as that which is championed by anorexics and bulimics worldwide.

"There are loads," she told the site of her mottos. "There's, 'Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.' That's one of them. You try and remember, but it never works."

A spokeswoman for Moss said the remark "completely misrepresented" what the model meant to say, according to the BBC.

Eating disorder charity Beat told Reuters Moss' comment "really unfortunate."

"It's one that's used so prominently and so obviously in connection with pro-anorexic websites," Beat chief executive Susan Ringwood told Reuters.

"We know she is a person who young people look up to, she's such a style icon, they are very interested in her life, they follow all the details of it."

Moss, credited with sprearheading "heroin chic," has been the poster-girl for waify models often considered too thin since her 1993 Calvin Klein modeling campaign.

In the same interview, Moss said she doesn't define beauty on outward appearance.

"You can be a pretty face, but if you're not a nice person, it just doesn't work," she said. "I'm not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I'm all right. If you're a nice person, it definitely helps."
