Caressa Cameron was unable to sing the national anthem at Talladega Superspeedway.

Talladega nights proved too hot for Miss America.

Miss America Caressa Cameron was overcome by heat and unable to sing the national anthem Sunday before the NASCAR races at Talladega Superspeedway.

The Miss America Organization says Cameron was taken to the track's medical care center, evaluated and quickly released. She is feeling better and resting comfortably.

Cameron was the first black Miss America since Ericka Dunlap in 2005.
