Levi Johnston Says No Thanks to Palin Turkey Day Feast
He says dinner with the Palins would be "awkward"

Levi Johnston, Palin’s could-have-been-son-in-law, was invited to the family compound on Lake Lucille in Wasilla for the Thanksgiving feast, but the hockey player turned nude model is saying no thanks.
Palin extended the invite when she appeared on TV with Oprah Winfrey to promote her new memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life." The former vice presidential candidate told Oprah, “it’s lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing.”
But Johnston rejected Palin’s invitation, saying it was “a nice gesture, but she didn’t mean it” during his photo shoot with Playgirl. He said dinner with his baby-mother's mother would be “awkward.”
Having no regrets shedding his clothes for Playgirl, Johnston tells E! Online, “You know what, I don’t care if she [Palin] sees them…. Who cares about what she says or does? I don’t care.”
But Johnston is not severing all ties with the Palins. He plans to file for joint custody of his 10-month old grandson Tripp, whom he had with Palin’s daughter, Bristol.
