Just 7 months after delivering her first child, Jessica Simpson is pregnant again, US Weekly reports.
Simpson, who has been engaged to former NFL tight end Eric Johnson since 2010, gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1.
US Weekly, quoting an unnamed source, said baby number two was a surprise for the couple, but that they are overjoyed. Simpson will be featured on this week's cover of the magazine, which includes an article on her good news.
Simpson's due date has not been revealed.
On Thanksgiving Day, Simpson tweeted, "I am so grateful for my new lil family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"
It's been a busy year for Simpson who, in the last 12 months, has posed nude on the cover of Elle magazine, has given birth, started a maternity line of clothing, hosted NBC's Fashion Star television show and lost a reported 60 pounds after signing a lucrative deal with Weight Watchers.
She has also endured some family trouble. In October, her parents Tina and Joe filed for divorce in McLennan County after 34 years of marriage and earlier this month her father plead no contest in a DUI case from August.
