Hugh Jackman has played a mutant, a 19th century gentleman and a vampire hunter during his career on the big screen, but now he's set to add a rather interesting character to his Hollywood resume – a male Avon lady.
According to Variety, the Australian actor will play a down-on-his-luck gent who, after getting his walking papers from a car dealership, turns to selling Avon products.

The film, which will be called "Avon Man," takes a twist when Hugh's character has to work to save his poor town by turning the male members of his locale into super-sellers as well, the trade paper reported.
Kevin Bisch, who wrote 2005's "Hitch," which starred Will Smith, pitched the concept and will pen the screenplay.

Before that happens, however, Hugh has a host of roles coming up including one which will see him paired up alongside Brit actor Daniel Craig on Broadway.
The two men will star in "A Steady Rain," which is set to open on September 29 at New York's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
