From Channing Tatum to Katherine Heigl, a host of stars have taken to the covers of fashion magazines this month in order to promote their latest movies, but Brad Pitt opted for a different path.

Not just your average interview and hot cover shot, Brad got involved with the folks behind tech-savvy magazine Wired for their August 2009 issue.

Having enjoyed what the mag did with their May 2009 issue, which featured guest-editing by J.J. Abrams, Brad spoke to Wired Creative Director, Scott Dadich, and the two came up with a concept for the Pitt package.

In the magazine, Brad, who is promoting his new Quentin Tarantino film, "Inglourious Basterds," offers advice on a host of topics including "Facebook Faux Pas, Twitter Tribulations and Blogging Blunders."

"Who cares if your 'Warcraft' wife is really a dude – if it's good, don't check under the hood," he quipped.

The cover shoot, which features the blue-eyed father of six with one of the mag's no-nos – a Bluetooth headset — was shot in Los Angeles at Smashbox Studios.

The August issue of Wired, featuring Brad Pitt, is on newsstands, July 21.
