    It's the walk of shame for another young Hollywood star. Actress Amanda Bynes is facing DUI charges after allegedly hitting a sheriff's patrol car. Gordon Tokumatsu reports from West Hollywood.

    Amanda Bynes was arrested Friday in West Hollywood on suspicion of driving under the influence and side-swiping a police car, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

    The 26-year-old "Easy A" star tried to pass a marked police car in her BMW at the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica boulevards about 3 a.m. Friday, police said.

    Amanda Bynes, 26, navigates a swarm of paparazzi outside the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station. The actress was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and side-swiping a police car, according to authorities.

    The BMW collided with the right-rear quarter panel of the radio car, according to deputies. Each vehicle suffered minor paint damage.

    No injuries were reported.

    The former Nikelodeon star was booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station and held on $5,000 bail.
