For the last 13 years, ZestFest has brought together the boldest, and often, the bravest foodies. On January 23 - 25, ‘Hot and Spicy Connoisseurs’ will pack into to the Irving Convention Center in a quest to introduce their palates to new and exotic flavors.
Presented by NBC 5 and Dos Equis, and produced by Greg Bagarozy of Spicy Food Productions, an exciting new feature at this year’s festival is Dinner at ZestFest! A Pig and Rib Roast hosted by Eddie Deen on Saturday night, January 24th, starting at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include dinner, all of the side dishes, and two beers.
Showcased on the Celebrity Chef Stage this year will be the incomparable talents of Food Network Star Sarah Penrod with special guest Chef Grady Spears, John Bonnell, Eduardo Alvarez, Enam Chowdhury, and local legend Eddie Deen. You won’t want to miss it! Other popular competitions at ZestFest include the Wingstop Atomic Wings Eating Contest and Puckerbutt’s Jalapeno Eating Contest!

Price of admission covers all exhibits, competitions, and entertainment, and children under 10 are admitted free with a paid adult ticket.

Offering a food pantry; financial assistance for rent, utilities, or prescriptions; employment services and information and referral, Irving Cares provided services to Irving residents over 44,000 times last year. Founded in 1957 and serving the Irving community for nearly 60 years, Irving Cares programs are a hand up, not a handout.
