Named after golf legend Byron Nelson, this world-class PGA Tour event is organized by members of the Salesmanship Club benefitting the Momentous Institute, a nonprofit that serves over 6,000 children and family members directly each year and focuses on building and repairing social emotional health and helping children become self-regulated, good communicators, problem-solvers, empathetic, grateful, gritty and optimistic. The organization also invests in research and training to reach far more children than could ever be served directly.
Attendees can expect to see the top field of players at the tournament this year, including world-ranked #2 Jordan Spieth, who will be hosting the Youth Clinic at the Four Seasons on Tuesday, May 17, which is free for everyone.
The AT&T Byron Nelson is known as the place to have a great time. The Pavilion After Dark will continue to be the place to party Thursday through Sunday with free concerts, including: DJ S.O.U.L. Jah, Texas singer-songwriter Hudson Moore, the Limelight Band and Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling recording artist David Nail. Fans will also have the opportunity to demo AT&T’s latest products and services at AT&T’s Digital Clubhouse and children can play in the air-conditioned KidsZone.
