Since 1974, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised nearly $60 million for cancer research, making it the world’s largest single-night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society contribute more than 30,000 services to cancer patients in North Texas. These services include: providing rides to patients to and from treatment, arranging free wigs, visiting patients in the hospitals and helping enact strong state and local laws to protect workers and the public from secondhand smoke.
