Eva Longoria Speaks at the Dallas Women's Foundation Luncheon

NBC 5 and the Dallas Women’s Foundation invite you to their 30th Annual Luncheon on Friday, October 30, at the Hilton Anatole. Award-winning actress, producer, designer, philanthropist and ninth generation Texan Eva Longoria will be the keynote speaker. The luncheon celebrates 30 years of the Foundation’s work to advance positive social and economic change for women and girls in North Texas. As the largest regional women’s fund in the world, the Foundation has granted $29 million dollars since inception to drive research, programming, collaboration and innovation to support women and girls.

A stalwart supporter of women and diversity, Eva Longoria is the founder of “The Eva Longoria Foundation,” which is dedicated to helping Latinas build better futures for themselves through education and entrepreneurship. Longoria has been named “Philanthropist of the Year” by The Hollywood Reporter and honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at Variety’s annual Power of Women Luncheon. Longoria is a Golden Globe-nominated, Screen Actors Guild Award and ALMA Award-winning actress, who will star in and executive produce the highly anticipated series, “Hot & Bothered,” premiering this fall on NBC. Recently, Longoria joined Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn in the three-part PBS series, “A Path Appears,” which exposes the effects of gender inequality and poverty in Haiti.

The 30th Annual Luncheon is led by a trifecta of couples, co-chairs Jane and Michael Hurst; Paula and Ron Parker; and Stacey and John Relton and sponsored in part by NBC 5.  The annual luncheon will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hilton Anatole, Chantilly Ballroom, located at 2201 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.
