Planned since the 1960′s, the long-awaited Chisholm Trail Parkway toll road connecting Tarrant and Johnson Counties, from Fort Worth to Cleburne, is nearing completion. The Run and Ride dedication event, which includes a half marathon, 5K, 1 Mile Kids Fun Run and bike ride of various lengths welcomes participation from all ages and abilities. One time and one time only will we have the opportunity to ride bikes, run, walk or do all three on the actual parkway itself.  The parkway is scheduled to open to vehicles on Sunday, May 11.

Proceeds from the event benefit two well-respected non-profit organizations, CASA of Tarrant County and CASA of Johnson County, who support neglected and abused children.

Packet pick up for the Run and Ride will be on May 8 and May 9 at Bicycles, Inc., 5125 Granbury Road, Fort Worth, 76133, between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.  Packet pick up will also be available the morning of May 10 at Clearfork.

Take either Hulen St or Bryant-Irvin exit. Continue north to Clearfork Main St (Hulen) or Edwards
Directions from I-30: Take either the Hulen St or Bryant-Irvin exit. Continue south over railroad tracks bridge to Clearfork Main St (Hulen) or Edwards Ranch Road (Bryant-Irvin).

Directions from I-20: Ranch Rd (Bryant-Irvin).

Directions from Hulen: Proceed west from Hulen on Clearfork Main Street, through the roundabout at Edwards Ranch Road.  You will be directed into parking in the next block.

Directions from Bryant-Irvin: Proceed east from Bryant-Irvin on Edwards Ranch Road. Turn right (south) at Clearfork Main Street. You will be directed into parking after passing under the CTP and by Forest Park Hospital.
