Brace yourself, New York: 'Sex and the City' lives. The film's cast just confirmed they've signed on for a sequel.

There's more "Sex and the City" coming our way.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her three co-stars have signed deals for a sequel to last year's hit.

The writer, Michael Patrick King, is on board, too. No word yet about Christopher Noth.

After years and years of "will-they, won't-they" on the TV series, Carrie and Mr. Big got married at the end of the first movie.

In a statement, King says he's "very excited to work with these amazing actresses again and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel."

But, he says he's busy with his "Sex" life. "Sex and the City 2," if it'll be called that, is expected in theaters in summer of 2010.

    What the El!?! Editorial:

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the first movie, I was worried they wouldn't capture the things I loved about the series in a movie but they did a good job.

I would totally go see this at the theater in 2010!
