Cate Blanchett will play Maid Marian opposite Russell Crowe as Robin Hood.
At one time Sienna Miller had the part.
Variety says producer Brian Grazer says Blanchett is a strong match for Crowe.
She's also older than Miller, which may put Marian and Robin Hood on more equal footing as characters.
Filming is supposed to start later in the spring.
