The pop princess is reportedly relying on the "magic" ring to get her through her tough times.
Tourmaline, which is a semi-precious stone that comes in a wide variety of colors, claims to boost inner strength and provide a sense of stability.
Life and Style Magazine reports celebrity designer Dara Dubinet gave the rocking ring to Spears.
Dubinet tells the tabloid: "I made the ring with Britney in mind. When something is made with good intention, it carries that positive energy to the person who ends up wearing it."
Spears has been busy preparing for her first big venue tour in five years, the Circus Tour kicks off March 3 in New Orleans.
