CHICAGO - APRIL 21: Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich arrives at the Dirksen Federal building for a hearing to request that his travel restrictions for his bond be modified to allow him to travel to Costa Rica to appear on a reality television show April 21, 2009 in Chicago, Illinois. Blagojevich is out on bond after being indicted on 16 criminal counts including racketeering conspiracy and wire fraud. The judge denied the request. Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich says he was willing to eat bugs for his children, but a federal judge saved him from that.

The judge refused to allow Blagojevich to travel to Costa Rica, where the Democrat had hoped to appear on reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" The show puts contestants through outrageous competitions, such as bug eating.
Blagojevich said in an interview Thursday on NBC's "Today" show that he's heading to Los Angeles, where he might play some role in the program.

Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to racketeering, fraud and other charges that allege -- among other things -- that he schemed to sell President Barack Obama's former U.S. Senate seat.

This guy is a whack job. I agree with the judge, you need to concentrate on your trial!
