Billy Bob & Boxmasters Cancel Canada

Billy Bob Thornton's snit during an interview on a Toronto radio show last Wednesday could now be affecting the band's paychecks.

Thornton's band, called the Boxmasters, had been opening for Willie Nelson. But, a note posted Friday on Nelson's Web site says the Boxmasters are canceling the rest of their Canadian dates "due to one band member and several of the crew having the flu."

During the radio show Thornton had said Canadian audiences seem to be very reserved, "they just sort of sit there. And it doesn't matter what you say to 'em. ... It's mashed potatoes but no gravy."

That went over real well.

When the band opened for Nelson on Thursday in Toronto, they reportedly were booed and people yelled, "Here comes the gravy."

What the El!?! Editorial:

Billy Bob is going to sink himself and the Boxmasters with his mouth.

What happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all?"

I'd just like to know where Billy Bob got this ego.
