NFL Draft Will Have Dallas Appeal

The Dallas metroplex will once again be able to flex their muscle this weekend as one of the top football factories in the country. Thanks goes out to Matthew Stafford, the Georgia QB, who played his high school ball at Highland Park. Stafford was taken number one by the Detroit Lions, who have invested $41.7 in guaranteed money to the Scot to be their franchise quarterback.

Texas Tech receiver Michael Crabtree, who played his high school ball at Dallas Carter is likely to be a top-seven pick, maybe as high as fourth by the Seattle Seahawks. Crabtree has been hampered by a foot injury that required surgery.

So Dallas, be proud, two of your local sons are going to be front and center in New York City.
