In a weekly staple, we'll discuss who's in a groove and who's in a rut for the Texas Rangers.

    Who's On?

Rougned Odor — The young second baseman, who's been one of the game's best hitters since being recalled from a demotion back in June, is hitting .500 over his last four games.

Mitch Moreland — The newly platooned first baseman is continuing his breakout season, and he's hitting .389 in his last five games.

Josh Hamilton — In his last four games, he's hitting .313 with two runs and two RBIs, and he's still hitting pretty well in crucial spots.

    Who's Off?

Adrian Beltre — God love him, Beltre is hitting just .100 over his last five games after getting hot for a pretty extended amount of time previous to this current stretch.

Shin-Soo Choo — See above. After a nice little hot streak, Choo has cooled again and is hitting .167 over his last four games.
