Vintage Baseball Coming to Frisco

The MLB Players Alumni Association and the Get In The Box Foundation are teaming up to bring local baseball fans a unique experience that will help raise money for youth charities.

On April 30 at 1 p.m. at Frisco's Dr Pepper Ballpark, fans will be able to watch a group of former MLB players and Hall of Famers play with all the equipment, rules and uniforms that players played with in the 1880s. Tickets to the game are $15.

The Get In The Box Foundation is comprised of professional athletes, executives and professors united to improve the physical and mental well-being of America's youth.

The game will include players such as Rollie Fingers, Lee Smith, Andres Gallaraga and former Rangers Jim Sundberg and Toby Harrah.

There is also a dinner Friday night at the Frisco Westin Stonebriar for $75/ticket that will include a live auction with numerous MLB memorabilia and Rangers season tickets up for grabs.
