Scott Feldman Looking To Right The Ship Against Royals

Feldman has lost each of his last five starts

Rangers’ starter Scott Feldman maintains that he doesn’t feel any different than he did when he went on a bit of a winning streak through the month of July and into the early part of August, but the results of recent have been decidedly unfavorable for the 29-year-old of late. He’s taken the loss in each of his last five starts, this on the heels of a stretch that saw him win four straight.

Tonight in Kansas City, Feldman will look to right the ship.

"I feel the same as I did in the winning streak. I feel fine. It's like hitting or any part of baseball. Some things are out of your control,” Feldman told the Rangers’ official website. “All you can worry about is executing your pitches. If I can do that, the end result will turn around. Hopefully I can get back on a winning streak and finish strong."

Feldman will enter Thursday night’s game at Kauffman Stadium sporting a 6-11 record and a 5.01 ERA.
