Rangers Remembering What Losing Feels Like

The Texas Rangers have lost three straight games — the final two games of a series in Chicago and Tuesday's series opener at home against the AL West rival Oakland A's, and with that loss on Tuesday night the Rangers have now lost three straight games for the first time since May 14-16.

After that, the Rangers were flat out rolling.

Since that losing skid, the Rangers hadn't lost more than two games consecutively until Tuesday's ugly loss, which also marked the first ugly start of rookie pitcher Chi Chi Gonzalez and a blown lead after a big fifth inning gave them a 5-2 advantage.

Don't panic, Rangers fans. This skid is nothing to worry too much about. The Rangers are a good baseball team, and now that they've been reminded what losing feels like, the hope is they'll come out Wednesday night and start a new winning streak.
