Rangers Release 2017 Spring Schedule, Will Open Vs. Royals

The Texas Rangers will open up their spring schedule against the Royals on Feb. 25, 2017 in Surprise, Arizona.

The Rangers released their Spring Training schedule Tuesday. The defending AL West champs will play 27 spring games in 2017, including 32 Cactus League contests.

In addition to 19 games at Surprise Stadium in Arizona, the schedule includes a pair of exhibition games, also against the Royals, to be held March 31 and April 1 at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The Rangers will also play the Venezuela's World Baseball Classic squad in an exhibition game on March 9 in Surprise.
