Rangers Release 2014 Season Schedule

The Texas Rangers will first face the Philadelphia Phillies during their regular season home opener on March 31, 2014.

Major League Baseball released the entire Rangers 2014 schedule Tuesday afternoon.

The season will mark the fifth time in the last six years that Texas has opened a regular season with a home game but the first time they will have played a National League team during the regular season opener. The Rangers and Phillies will then continue the three-game series on April 1 and 2.

Then the Rangers hit the highway to Tampa Bay and Boston in the first weeks of April while the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament takes over AT&T Stadium (and most of Arlington) on April 5-7, 2014.

Just as they start the season, the Rangers will finish out the 2014 regular schedule at home, with the final seven games at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. They host the Astros for three games before facing the A's for a final four-game series Sept. 22-28, 2014.
